A Fox News journalist cut off Karoline Leavitt mid-sentence while she was discussing Jeffrey Epstein.

During Monday’s White House press briefing, journalists probed into the alleged “client list” of the late convicted sex offender following announcements from the US Department of Justice under President Donald Trump and the FBI that no such list exists, sparking fury among many, including MAGA supporters.

The Justice Department also declared that no further documents related to Epstein and his case will be released to the public. This stance contrasts with earlier statements by Attorney General Pam Bondi, who had vowed to disclose the Epstein files she claimed were “sitting” on her desk and “ready” for release.

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy pressed about the files that Bondi had pledged to make public, questioning, “Okay so the FBI looks at the circumstances surrounding the death of Jeffrey Epstein. According to the report, this systematic review revealed no incriminating client list. So, what happened to the Epstein client list that the Attorney General said she had on her desk?”

Karoline replied, “Well, I think if you go back and look at what the Attorney General said in that interview, which was on your network, on Fox News,” reports the Mirror US.

Peter proceeded to share Bondi’s words, “The DOJ said they may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients, will that really happen? And she said it’s sitting on my desk right now to review, Right?”

In wrapping up their conversation, the press secretary affirmed, “Yes she was saying the entirety of all of the paperwork in relation to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes, that’s what the Attorney General was referring to and I’ll let her speak for that, but again, when it comes to the FBI and the Department of Justice, they are more than committed to ensuring that bad people are put behind bars.”

Karoline additionally highlighted that the FBI and Department of Justice are spearheading an initiative called Summer Heat, which, according to her, is seeing America’s “murder rate trending in the lowest direction.”

Epstein faced arrest in 2019, slapped with charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy, crimes he was said to have committed in cahoots with his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell. The accusation at hand dealt with the trafficking and assault of young girls.

Epstein met his demise 35 days post-arrest, found lifeless in his cell in August 2019. An official suicide by hanging was the determined cause of his death.

Yet, the circumstances of his passing sparked a flurry of conspiracy theories, as some skeptics contested the suicide ruling.

Ghislaine was convicted of child sex trafficking and other crimes related to aiding, abetting, and participating in the sexual exploitation of minors by the infamous financier. She received a 20-year prison sentence in June 2022.
