Greg Gutfeld has reflected on his life, prompting him to recall a “foolish” decision he made back in the eighties.

Some of Greg Gutfeld’s past career choices appear to be haunting him in more ways than one.

The 60-year-old Fox News icon, who welcomed his first child with his wife Elena Moussa, 42, late last year, took part in a brief behind-the-scenes video, which was shared via the show’s X account, as he headed to present Wednesday’s episode of The Five.

Speaking to the camera, Greg began: “Hey, you might know me from two shows, The Five and Gutfeld!” before quipping: “You might also know me from my work in those foreign films in the early eighties.”

“I don’t really talk about those because I was broke and I needed the money, and I wish that would just stay in my past,” he continued.

“But in case you hear about it, just remember I didn’t know what I was doing. I was a young kid. I was foolish. I thought maybe I could just do it part-time, but then it slowly took over my life.

“Pretty soon, it got really, really dark for a while,” he admitted as he reached his desk on The Five’s set, adding: “Anyway, I’m gonna go do this show now.”

He then playfully screamed at the production crew: “It’s hot in here. Turn down the heat,” before he burst into laughter, signing off the video with a cheesy grin and saying: “See you later!”

While it’s not clear which two movies Greg was referring to, the humorous clip still entertained fans.

User @KathyVickey908 commented: “Greg always makes me laugh,” as viewer @Carm_Randazzo appeared to agree with Greg’s past choices, writing: “American gigolo, paid too well , we understand.”
