White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was forced to face head-on the fact that Attorney General Pam Bondi admitted she had Jeffrey Epstein‘s ‘client list’ on her desk and now claims there is no such thing.
An unsigned memo decorated with Justice Department and FBI seals revealed on Sunday night that the agencies are concluding there was no ‘client list’ and that no more people would be convicted in relation to Epstein’s crimes.
The memo also stated that Epstein did kill himself as the initial medical report found – leading to immediate backlash from conspiracy theorists who have balked at the official version of what happened.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy demanded on Monday that Leavitt answer for what Bondi said to his network earlier this year when she pledged to release Epstein’s ‘client list,’ and claimed it was ‘on my desk’ for review.
Leavitt said Bondi was referencing the entire Epstein files and not the much sought-after list of client names.

Bondi said she was ‘reviewing’ the ‘client list’ and would release it at the direction of President Donald Trump – but on Sunday a memo reveal that the DOJ concluded there was no such list
Fox host John Roberts asked Bondi during an interview in February: ‘DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients, will that really happen?’
‘It’s sitting on my desk right now to review,’ Bondi replied. ‘That’s been a directive by President Trump.’
‘I’m reviewing that, I’m reviewing JFK files, MLK files,’ she added. ‘That’s all in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive or the president.’
Asked by Roberts if she saw anything that shocked her, Bondi said: ‘Not yet.’
On Monday, Doocy recited verbatim the question and answer and pressed Leavitt to explain why Bondi plainly stated the client list was on her desk and now says it doesn’t exist.
‘Yes, she was saying the entirety of all of those – paperwork – all of the paper in relation to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes. That’s what the attorney general was referring to and I’ll let her speak for that.’

The DOJ and FBI memo concluded that Epstein did kill himself in prison on August 10, 2019 – which lines up with the official findings of his cause of death
Leavitt insisted the FBI and DOJ are committed to making sure ‘bad people are put behind bars.’
This came after another reported question Leavitt on how Trump would explain to his base why they aren’t going after those involved in Epstein’s child sex trafficking ring.
Leavitt again deflected, claiming that the Trump team is committed to making sure those who commit crimes are jailed.
‘They committed to an exhaustive investigation, that’s what they did and they provided the results of that. That’s transparency,’ Trump’s spokesperson insisted.
