Ozzy Osbourne was seen alongside his daughter Kelly Osbourne in a family video shared on social media just days before his death, with the clip attracting attention again this week

Ozzy Osbourne was seen spending time with his family in a video shared just two days before his death. The footage has attracted attention this week following the news of the singer-songwriter’s death last night.

His daughter Kelly Osbourne, 40, shared the video with fans on her Instagram Story on July 20, two days before the Black Sabbath legend died. It showed Ozzy using a tablet whilst sat at a table with his youngest daughter and her two-year-old son Sidney.

The three of them were seen at breakfast together in the video, with newspapers, including the Sunday Mirror, visible on the table in front of them. Kelly began the clip by saying: “Good morning.” She then panned around to show her father.

Kelly referred to Ozzy, who was sat with a pair of headphones on, as “dadda” at one point in the clip. She later told him: “Say good morning!” After being asked to address viewers, Ozzy leaned forward and said: “Good morning!”

Kelly was among the family members who announced Ozzy’s death in a statement yesterday. It had been signed by his wife Sharon and four of his children, Louis Osbourne, Aimee Osbourne, Jack Osbourne and Kelly, last night.

It read: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

The news of his death prompted tributes, including from his former Black Sabbath bandmates, whom he reunited with at a farewell concert in Birmingham recently. Flowers have since been left on the bench and bridge commemorating the band in the city, with fans visiting the area.

Ozzy’s former bandmate Tony Iommi has been among those paying tribute to him following the news yesterday. Alongside photos of Ozzy, Tony wrote in a post on Instagram last night that he “can’t really find the words” to address the news.

Tony wrote: “I just can’t believe it! My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park. It’s just such heartbreaking news that I can’t really find the words, there won’t ever be another like him. Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother. My thoughts go out to Sharon and all the Osbourne family. Rest in peace Oz.”
