The Sun exclusively revealed how season two of the show was under threat due to costs – which saw the show hit the £10M mark to make.

But now survival expert Bear has insisted that the show IS coming back.

Talking on BBC Radio 2 at the weekend, he said: “God willing, we are bringing Bear Hunt back.

“And we’re hoping to do it live so it’s going to be a live version, which Netflix have never done before – raw, real, hunt them down!”

But if it does come back it sounds like he would want Holly to come back on it with him, as he couldn’t stop gushing about the former This Morning host.

Bear said: “Holly was so fun to work with, I’d never had that before working alongside someone like that, she hasn’t had an easy journey but what a great girl she did brilliantly, she really did.”

Unfortunately the viewing figures didn’t quite match up to the substantial hype around the show, which included celebrities ranging from Mel B, Lottie Moss, Danny Cipriani and Boris Becker.
