Sanders is joining Trump at the White House for a meeting on Friday

SARAH Huckabee Sanders has debuted a new look in a TV appearance that left viewers calling her the “best governor in America.”

The Arkansas governor looks nearly unrecognizable from her former White House press secretary days as she now sports lighter hair and a camel overcoat instead of her usual pearl necklace.

Sanders, 42, appeared on Fox News on Friday morning to speak about President Donald Trump’s plans to change education in America.

“Education freedom is a nationwide movement,” Sanders posted on X following her moment on TV.

“Excited to join President @realDonaldTrump and a few of my Republican colleagues at the White House today to talk about the education revolution happening across America.”

Sanders’ fans praised the governor for her education initiatives.

“I think Sarah Sanders is giving Ron DeSantis a run for his money for the title of ‘Best Governor In America,’” one wrote on X.

Another simply wrote, “That’s my Gov!”

A third added, “Gov Sarah Sanders is One of America’s Leading Champions For Our Children And Citizenry’s And Republics Future.”

PHONE-FREE SCHOOLS

On Wednesday, Sanders announced new laws to ban phones from all public schools in Arkansas starting in the fall.

Every school in the state would be forced to outlaw using phones during the school day, except in emergencies.

The governor said she’s pioneering the law in hopes of improving students’ mental health.

“We have seen a staggering rise in mental illness among young people over the past decade,” Sanders said at a press conference at the Capitol on Wednesday.

“The culprit is clear: unrestricted access to smartphones and social media.

“After the overwhelming success of our phone-free schools pilot program, it’s clear that it’s time for Arkansas to ban smartphones, bell to bell, in every school in our state.”

Sanders is set to moderate a roundtable about education at the White House with top Republican governors on Friday, according to the Daily Wire.

President Donald Trump had four White House press secretaries during his first term in the Oval Office.

His press secretaries consisted of:

Sean Spicer – January 20, 2017 to July 21, 2017

Sarah Huckabee Sanders – July 21, 2017 to July 1, 2019

Stephanie Grisham – July 1, 2019 to April 7, 2020

Kayleigh McEnany – April 7, 2020 to January 20, 2021

“The White House is excited to honor National School Choice Week with this roundtable,” a senior White House official told the outlet.

“President Donald Trump wants parents throughout the nation to be empowered to direct their children’s education.”

TRUMP’S EDUCATION ORDER

Two days ago, Trump signed an executive order to explore how federal funds can be utilized to “expand education freedom for America’s families.”

“Parents want and deserve the best education for their children,” the president said in the order.

“But too many children do not thrive in their assigned, government-run K-12 school.

“It is the policy of my Administration to support parents in choosing and directing the upbringing and education of their children.”

SANDERS IN THE WHITE HOUSE

During his first presidency, Trump had four press secretaries, including Sanders.

Sanders, who then had shorter and darker hair, gave White House briefings from 2017 to 2019, replacing Sean Spicer after he left the role.
