Fox News host Laura Ingraham seemed to struggle to grasp the idea that Netflix had a show titled You, which had nothing to do with her or her show, The Ingraham Angle

Even news anchors have an off day sometimes, and when they do, their on-air blunders tend to live on the internet forever.

Almost a month after the fifth and final season of You premiered in April, a clip of Fox news host Laura Ingraham being utterly confused when the Netflix series is brought up during her show, The Ingraham Angle, has resurfaced. Fox correspondent Raymond Arroyo began talking about You on her program on the network, and when he did, Laura assumed the news contributor meant her.

“I was watching an episode of You where measles came up—” the Fox pundit said before Laura interrupted him saying, “when did I mention measles,” thinking he was talking about “watching” her show.

“I don’t know it was on You,” Raymond continued, prompting Laura to say “what was on me? What are you talking about?”

For a few seconds they talked at each other, continuing to miss each other’s point.

“You. You. It’s called You,” Raymond emphasized, which didn’t ring a bell because Laura still said, “I’ve never done a show on measles,” once again thinking he was talking about her and not the TV show.

“I just completely give up…” a defeated Laura added before Raymond attempted once more to get her to understand.

“It’s a show called You on Netflix,” Raymond said, but it still wasn’t of help because after that Laura asked, “there is a show called Laura…on the Netflix? What are you talking about?”

Raymond, finally over the conversation, ended with, “Nevermind, I’m moving on…I can’t explain this to you”

On X, formerly Twitter, several reacted the hilariously awkward televised moment.

“I can’t believe how long this went on,” one X user shared.

Another joked, “The narcissism prevented her from fathoming that ‘you’ could mean anything other than her.”

A third added, “Hilarious [laughing emojis] and doesn’t look staged.”
