Greg Gutfeld may have his hands full with his newborn, but that hasn’t stopped him from brutally jibing his Fox News co-star Jesse Watters after his big win.

When Greg Gutfeld isn’t leaving fans “teary-eyed” with his life update –  or terrible jokes – he’s poking fun at his Fox News colleague Jesse Watters.

The two TV stars frequently work together over a series of shows across the Fox network, including The Five as well as their respective shows Gutfield! and Jesse Watters Primetime.

On New Year’s Eve, the annual cable news ratings for 2024 were released, and the two men and their shows competed against other huge names, like Sean Hannity, who recently proposed to Ainsley Earhardt, and CNN big hitters to see who garnered the most viewers over the past year.

But it was Greg, 60, who just welcomed his first child just before Christmas, who came out on top with an impressive 355,000 viewers in 2024 – beating Jesse’s show, which placed second with 352,000, by a mere 2000 viewers.

And Greg wasted no time rubbing his win in Jesse’s face – quite literally.

Quote tweeting the results table, Greg savagely wrote: “In your face @JesseBWatters.”

Sean’s show Hannity came third with 341,000 viewers, followed by the boys’ joint show The Five with 331,000 viewers. CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 placed 16th with 147,000 viewers in 2024.

Greg’s triumphant TV success comes on the heels of his bombshell baby news after he revealed that he and his wife Elena Moussa, 42, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl called Mira.

Aside from the initial announcement on December 10, 2024, the political commentator did not provide any updates on life as a father until Christmas Day.

Taking to his Instagram, Greg broke his silence with an adorable snap of his beloved French bulldog, Gus, chilling on the couch.

Along with it, he penned: “As usual, he got me nothing for Christmas. Although he left something that looks like coal in the middle of the living room.”

A few hours later, Greg uploaded a video of him and Gus taking a festive walk in the snow. Gus looked extremely cute in a little black coat as he excitedly sniffed and ran around while Greg narrated: “Oh, he’s happy. Look at him go up the hill.

“This is good, probably good for me too,” the TV host added.

However, the 60-year-old star captioned the post: “Upstate sick as a dog. Not this dog. He’s doing fine,” seemingly insinuating that he was feeling under the weather.

Despite Greg’s worrying update, fans were thrilled to see him active on his social media again.

In the comment section, fan @lucysanders2962 gushed: “So hearing your voice made me teary, hearing your news about a baby brought tears, watching The Five’s Christmas exchange today brought tears, and so I say.

“Congratulations to you, Elena, & Gus on your baby, so very happy for you all. But, I know I’m not the only one who misses you terribly:) We need you to come back please.”

It’s not clear when Greg will be returning to host his beloved TV show.
