Holly Willoughby is currently hosting Netflix new reality show Celebrity Bear Hunt.
Dancing On Ice host Holly Willoughby has opened up about her time on This Morning admitting sometimes things went “horribly wrong.
The mum-of-three appeared on the BBC’s The Graham Norton Show to promote her new Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt when she admitted things sometimes went “horribly wrong” ont he ITV daytime show.
“I love live telly. Live telly, I have to say, is my favorite,” she said. “But you don’t really know what’s going to happen, and there are pitfalls, and things do go wrong.
“I did This Morning (for) 14 years, and we had some amazing things that went perfectly right, and then we had some things that went really horribly wrong.”
Recalling one particularly unfortunate incident she said: “I remember there was a show that we had (on) Meghan Trainor, who was promoting her single, All About The Bass. On the same day, it was really tragically sad, Stephen Hawking passed away.

“The team were brilliant, because they were really reactive. It was live telly. So they pulled together this beautiful piece of footage, and it was really respectfully done.
“Then at the end of the show, we decided that we’d dedicate the show to him. So they had this lovely black and white picture of Stephen and the dates on there.
“And this is where live telly can be dangerous because the sound guy pushed the wrong button and played Meghan Trainor’s All About The Bass over the top,” she laughed.
Holly added she believed he would have liked it as she got an insight into his personality when she met him with Alan Carr on one occassion. he would have liked him.
“I was very lucky enough to meet him one time…and we went to a party, and we did shots with him. It was quite wild. I feel like he would have quite liked that,” she said.
During the show Holly also admitted she found herself forced to clean the toilets at 2023’s Glastonbury festival
“Elton (John) was the highlight,” she said. “But then everyone moved towards the loos. After his set, the loos were chaos. It was disgusting, but when you’ve got to go you’ve got to go.
“I was standing on the loo – you would not want to sit down – and I thought, ‘Oh my god, when I come out of here, whoever comes in next will think that was me so I can’t leave that.’
“I’ve always got a bag of wet wipes on me, so I cleaned that loo until it was spotless. It was perfect. I was back down to earth with a bump after Elton,” she laughed.
